Any Chemist/Scientist/Research girls here?

Where do you work and what do you do? Do you like your job? Do you like your company?
I am fed up with my job and I want to start looking!!!
I am currently a cosmetic chemist but I have a b.s. in biochem.
Thanks!

I'm a chemical engineer by school and somehow I ended up as an environmental engineering consultant. Just goes to show you can do anything you want, no matter what your degree is!!

I therefore can't help you, but I totally know what you're going through!

Although I didnt finish school I was a MarineBiology Major with minors in BioChem and Physics (dont ask) Now I do insurance HAHA

My FBIL is a biochem BS working in the cosmetic field. Lab work with eye liner I think. Actually he works for one of my largest clients, go fig.

He said it was really tough finding a job.

Here's my thing. If you're seriously unhappy, I don't care if you're changing nuclear warheads or fixing lightbulbs you should think about your options. Look around. It doesnt hurt. Weigh your options.

That's just my $.02

Three of my cousins are chemical engineers and two of them married chemical engineers - all of them work for GE and do like their jobs -maybe try applying there?

Its hard to find a job on LI though. All the good ones are in NJ and I don't want to commute.
