Any Christmas week honeymooners out there??

FH and I want to take out honeymoon the day after Christmas because I am a teacher and can't get off except when we have break. We are getting married 11/29, and wanted to do Sandals St. Lucia, but there are no direct flights, they want thousands for the flight, and the rooms are ridiculously expensive because it's Christmas week. Is anyone else having this issue? I am totally stressed!
