For those of you getting married there on a Saturday night...what is your start time? I have to choose my start time and I can't decide if I want early, or later. I want to be able to see the sunset from the room during the party, but I don't want the party to end at 11. I am sooo confused. HELP!

I just had mine there Sat 9/29...We started at 7:30pm....I would recommend a little earlier if possible....a lot of people left before my vienese hour

Problem is, I think they only offer two start times...5:00 and 7:30. I am hoping I can talk him into letting me start at like 6:00, but I guess the problem is that if there is another wedding going on, we have to share the cocktail room!

Hi, my cocktail hour starts at 7:00 and I am almost certain we are doing the Vienesse Hour, so our wedding will end at 1am.
I had a choice between 5:00 or 7:00 (6:00 cocktail start would have been perfect, but oh well).
I decided on the later time because I didn't want to lookout at through the windows and see anyone having their ceremony while my guests are either eating or dancing. It is a beautiful room and I am sure people are going to look at the water. In taking the later time, this avoids any chances of this happening. Just my thoughts.

when i spoke to nick he had said that we could start the CH at 2. so it would be from 2-3 and then from 3-8 w/ VH. i'm doing sunday though =x so i dont think i help sorry

Yea, I think that Sunday's are more flexible on start times because there are usually only one wedding in a room on Sundays. At least, that's my guess...

I looked into a Sunday also as was told since my church is 330 they could start cocktails at 530 if i wanted...mind you this is for a sunday in january...

I havent seen CLM inside yet, Im waiting for the tasting this thursday to kill two birds with one stone so to speak!! Hooray for wendsdays tasting!!

We have a cocktail hr that starts at 6..so the reception ends at 11...but the bar at our hotel will be open till two, so we can really hang out and relax

we are actually having an early wedding. Ch at 2:30 and reception at 3:30-7:30 i think it will be a perfect time for me. still light out and the sun should be setting too! im so excited!

Since you are getting married in November maybe you should do 5:00. It gets dark so early around that time of year. Hopefully you can see the sun set. I am getting married in July and we chose 5:00.

ive been thinking and think i want to do 2:30 ceremony. 3-4 cocktail hour. then 4-8 reception..
