any clue on how much a DOC would be just for the day?
I've booked all my vendors. I don't need help with any of that stuff, i just would like to have someone there to help me if I need anything, give out the tips, just make sure stuff is happening on time, etc. How much do you think one is for just a day? I'm even contemplating just hiring a friend of a friend to help that day. Almost an extra guest who would just help. Any ideas or clue how much they run for just a day?

It varies but I've heard from $400 and up.

At the Bridal show....the girl from Erganic Designs told me it was 450 for the day of.

liz, steph used Tara for hers and she was pretty awesome. not sure how much she charged, but she took care of EVERYTHING. And its nice that its someone you know! Give my mom a call if you want Or Debbie too.

My officiant is also an Event Planner. I believe she charges $495 for DOC. Her website is jzeventplanning.com

Mine is Ryan from Above and Beyond events. We are paying $450. but she was running a special at that time. I believe her normal price is $550 for DOC.

spoke to 2 and was quoted $950 from one and $650 from another....

I'm not sure if the prices had gone up. When I contact a few vendors for my wedding in 08, it was $500+. If you can network and see if the price can be lowered for you.

i saw vendors from 500 and up, at this point it might be more worth it for you to ask a friend and then maybe just get them a nicer gift but at the same time it can get kinda crazy that day i personally would want my guests to enjoy it as much as possible
i would post on the vendor board and see what kinda feedback you get
