Any Comments on the Floral Park Motor Lodge?

I think motor lodge and honestly I get another 'view' in my head.

But the price is decent.

Any reviews or comments about the place?
Anyone stayed there or seen it?

If its the one right off little neck pkwy on Jericho tpke, i've stayed there. ..I lived in the area, but a few times i've stayed there like on new years or after parties.
Its okay..I cant really complain about it. There's nothing fancy about it,and i think its a little expensive. But ..its the only one in the area!

I stayed there once....its decent. Nothing fancy and not too gross.

you can find nicer hotels for a few dollars more... we looked into it and personally i think that place is a dump for what they charge.

the price is perfect.. My MOH wanted decent priced and clean and I wouldnt want her too far.

Since SMCC gets us a discount there it works out perfectly!!!

I grew up in Floral Park and have been to parties there... when I was 16 years old...

Basically WAY too expensive for that place. Unless they changed it, it is not worth the money. My uncles are staying there just out of convience though.

Well its $98 a night
My parents were offered the choice.
Wingate at $149 (with whirlpool)
or FPML for $131 (no pool) for some reason they went for FPML.

I am no longer going to be held responsible.

They've been NUTS about this. I completely understand that they aren't used to the prices here in NY. REALLY I get it, but gimme a break! I tried! I think I got a great price from Wingate!

Anyway. My MOH is coming by herself so its $98 and my brother/SIL and nephew would get a double for $111. My parents room is $121 but $10 for the cot they want in the room.

I had to hear all this drama about a pool. Heaven forbid a hotel not have a pool. But the Wingate had a whirlpool. Still they wanted to 'save money' and my stepmonster started in on me about how much money she's spending in the hotels while traveling to NY (they're driving) and the gas money and boohooo hooo. Bah

Hey if they can find a better price with a pool and close to the site.. then go for it. I dont care. I did my part!

Sorry to vent but man she annoys me!

Like its all my fault for being so inconsiderate to be married during the school year, how could I? I mean kids have school. How inconsiderate not to have a place for them all to stay for free. How inconsiderate for me not to make Jim's family pay for the half the wedding (UHM HELLO?!?!? Wheres your check B!tch!?) Bah

*whew*
