I originally wanted calla lillies in tall vases as centerpieces, but the quotes that I've gotten are for ~$130/table. I'm really not that much into flowers so don't want to spend that kind of money on them. I have about 16 tables, anyone have any creative ideas?

That's a very high quote for those...that's what I am getting for my CPs and I was quoted $65 for mine...I don't have pics yet... What florist di dyou go to? You should try a local florist...
If you want to skip on flowers, what about candles?

I'm using glass hurricane goblets with candles in them, and just rose petals and holly sprigs strewn on the tables...I got them on sale at Dillards.com for 12/set of 3, and my florist is setting them up for me with the petals and such for a small fee...total my CPs for up to 15 tables ran $395 and you really can't beat that!
