Any Crowne Plaza Long Island brides?

At my agency, we have conferences and meetings there all the time and have a great relationship with them. Im surprised!

Ugh, I'm so frustrated. I really like the hotel itself (the rooms, bar, etc.), and am hosting a really big brunch there the next morning. It kills me that there have been so many issues!!!

I've been working with Eileen, who is a sweetheart. The issue isn't necessarily with her, but with the hotel itself. If you call to make a reso, they have a glitch in their system and there are ZERO rooms available the entire month of June. I kid you not. However, if you get someone live on the phone (and they don't transfer you across the ocean to a switch board like they usually do) and you give them my wedding code, they USUALLY can find my rooms. However, I was alerted by a few of my guests this weekend that I no longer apparently have a room block there. Nice, right? Even when I try to find my room block online it tells me that there are zero rooms available for my date. I've reached out to Eileen, but haven't heard from her. I just hope I hear back from her soon so I can get this figured out!!! My invitations haven't even gone out yet and I've had a crazy amount of issues. I can't even imagine how bad it's going to get once my guests are calling on a regular basis.

OMG I had these exact same problems at my hotel as well! And to top it off they gave the suite away to another couple...even after we had 1st dibs on it! Why don't you go to the hotel when you know Eileen is working???

I hear you. I think the whole hotel block system is flawed for some reason. I have had similar issues and it's way out from the final booking date.

I just told my guests to call instead of doing it online - because they don't have the rooms that are on my block contract online...

Anyway, one of my guests called last week and they told her that there was no rooms left. One, why wasn't I alerted about this if that was the case. Two, it is not the case and they ended up calling her back and saying that there is ONE room left.... so they booked her in that room. UM, NO... It's like pulling teeth with them to do something right.
