Any doctors or anyone good with symptom analysis out there???

I not feeling very well and need some medical help.

Here are my symptoms:
- Throbbing headache: front, back, and sides.
- Chills (too cold, can't warm up)
- Sweats (too hot, can't cool off)
- Sore Throat (right now, the left side and it hurts to swallow.)
- Aches (lower back, arms)
- fatigue (I haven't gotten out of bed all day)
- very little or no appetite

I think that's it for now. My mom thinks its the flu (which is possible because I work in an elementary school.)

Any ideas ladies?????

And do you have a fever?

It happened yesterday at 10pm out of nowhere. It started with a headache, then led to a sore throat

yep - he said that's the flu. Go to the Dr asap tomorrow!

Could be strep throat too. Go see a doctor either way. Feel better!

Im gonna say the flu..only because that is exactly how I felt when I had it last year

Aww, Danielle, like everyone else already said, it's probably the flu, so i'm of no help to you, but feel better fast!!

I've only had the flu once in my whole 28 years and it was an unforgettable experience. It came on like a ton of bricks and lasted for a long time. I was weak for weeks after the other symptoms went away. The dr prescribed me Tamiflu which is an antiviral drug, and it's supposed to help your body fight the virus. I get the flu shot every year now!

I concur with the girls, definitely have flu symptoms! Really take some tylenol which will help the fever and pains and then rest, rest, rest. Also drink warm fluids...i love camomile tea with honey...it really soothes the throat. The other thing i do when my head is like that is lie down with a damp cloth covering my head and eyes. Unfortunately, there isn't any tx for the flu so just rest and you will get better.
