Hi I just read through that unique dress thread and I had a question - did anyone regret the dress choice they made? I found a dress that I really like, but it isn't really that 'bride-y' at all. Its more like a straight gown - its beautiful (and happens to be really reasonable). I'm hesitant to get it because this is the one day where I can wear a big white dress - did anyone choose a unique , non-bridal looking dress and then feel like they wanted to change their mind. It sounds like most on here fall in love with their dresses and thats the end of it.

well i didn't necesarrily have any doubts about the dress because i love mine but i did find that the original seller of the dress was charging a few hundred dollars more for the dress and then i started wondering 'is it cheap and poorly made?' but that was just my stupidity because i know you don't have to spend an exorbetant amount of money on a dress you are wearing for one day. it's a beautiful dress no matter how much it is. Now i've decided that it doesn't matter how much it is i still love it and i'm going to love wearing it..don't doubt your dress because something made you know that it was the one you wanted when you first ordered it..jmo

I got a first dress I later regretted, so I got a second straight one! It looks a lot better on me--much more flattering. Less princess-y, but I would rather people say I look great than the dress looks great!

I regret my choice. It was coming down to the time where if I didnt order one soon, I would have to get something off the rack. I just chose one that I LIKED. I am not in love with it at all....sad but true!
