Re: Any East Wind brides?
it was REALLY PRETTY. we drove over an hour to get there and got lost and just kept on saying that it better be worth the drive and as we pulled up to it its vastness just took my breath away. it really was a beautiful building it took my breath away. My only complain was the carpets i am so anal about carpets! lol they were kind of ugly. Also, the room that we saw was huge and the way they spit it up has all of your tables on one side and your danceflood on the other side which i thought was wierd but still nice! Gorgeous chandelliers and great castle/mansion like antique furniture and the buildings only 7 years old.

I got marred at the Inn at East Wind in August. The room you saw was probably Southhampton extended. They cut that in half and have cocktail hour in one room and your reception in another and for the reception, the dance floor is at the front of the room and the tables are all together at the back of the room. It's much more intimate than what you saw but can still hold 225 people or more. For a Saturday afternoon in August, I was quoted 89pp, total cost coming out to 108pp (includes taxes, gratuities, etc.). It was a beautiful day and when I say my day it was perfect, I mean it. We also had our senior prom there the year is opened but that's not why we chose it. Definitely negotiate with them. You can always go with the cheaper dinner package and maybe get stuff from the more expensive package thrown in for free.
Also, if there is no other wedding going on, you can go over to Country Gardens and take pictures there for as long as you want which is a major plus since it's the nicest scenery. The same goes for all parts of their property.
Good luck! HTH!

He is grt! we have such a small budget and guest list and they were able to accomadate everything and they were even gonna throw in an October Fest in Nov for us! They r really grt! We want to do it at a beach house tho...but if we change our minds they r def one of our top choices!

Totally agree....I got married at the Estate in Nov and I cannot rave enough about them! Everyone who I know that got engaged I tell them to go there. They were PHENOMENAL!!! You will not be disappointed and they were a pleasure to deal with.

They will give you a sheet when you go with all of the standard pricing - it depends on the room you pick, the type of menu you pick and the night of the week. They will negotiate from those prices, but at least that will give you a starting point.
