Any *favor* ideas for rehearsal dinner?
I'm in a creative funk... Looking for something small to give as favors for our pre-wedding dinner. Most of the people there will be staying at the hotel and getting a goody bag later that evening... Any ideas? Thanks!! 28 days and counting.... :)

Any *favor* ideas for rehearsal dinner?
I did cds with my cd burner. I downloaded some of our favorite songs and started with 'Going to the Chapel'. It was too much work to do for the wedding so it was perfect for the rehearsal. Good luck.

Hi Kel!!
No, you`re not supposed to do RD favors, I just wanted to do something...still might not if I can`t get a good idea! How are the plans coming along? I write a to-do list every day and it keeps growing...interesting, eh? Are did your head count turn out? Today`s my response due date and I`m really hoping that the 16 missing responses are in today`s mail! HAHA! :)

Fran and Kel
Sorry Kel, that was 'how' did your head count turn out, not 'are' - egads! Fran - where did you get the mini-tins? I can't remember if you ordered them on-line. Rite-Aid has them for $1.29 each! Crazy! I only need about 20. Also, did you make your own labels, too? How? Thanks and best of luck this weekend!!! :)

I made Chocolate lollipops
My fiance's family is from Ireland, so I made chocolate lollipops in a Claddaugh ( sp?) mold. I painted them gold.. They were so easy and came out great .

I ordered the on line they were $1.00 ea. ordered in sets of 5. I dont remember what shipping was but it worked out better for me to order 35 on line then buy them for $1.29 ea. For the label I just put our names and date with a bride and groom clipart. I used the lable format in Access to print them.

Hi Kathi!!
Whew!! I didn`t think RD favors were standard .. once again you are going that extra mile! I, however, have fallen way behind on my planning and finalizing .. but pretty much not by my own fault. :( Being away really hurt, plus other things I have been counting on haven`t materialized yet. :( Hopefully those people will get on the ball soon. Otherwise I really will be in big trouble! As for the final head count. That too was depressing. Going into the last week we had lots of response cards still out there. And in the final days, we got hit with just about all of them .. most being declines. That really upset me, because it came down to deciding on whether to extend last minute invites with an explanation of why the response date has already passed, or just let it go and settle. We decided to settle. Those who would have gotten last minute invites would have been from my job, and we didn`t want anyone feeling slighted that they had been passed over twice, by the first round, and the late-minute round. It was hard enough passing on certain people the first time around, and could have been even more uncomfortable with a second round. Does that make sense? Originally, figuring based on a 20% decline, we anticipated 170 guests. We are in the 130s now. I`m still waiting on some people to respond, which could bring the number to 140 or so. But, overall, I am happy. My fiance didn`t have as many vacation days as we thought .. he`s only got 2 days left!!! So the honeymoon we were postponing to November, is being put off til March. Luckily that opened up my options, and I can now afford to take a couple days before the wedding, and will take a couple days after. We booked a Tower Room at Mohonk Mt. Very expensive .. but should be well worth it. Guess that`s it. The girls dresses have all been picked up, and I will be getting mine soon. Now, if only I could just get all the little details all settled ... but at least the seating arrangements are more than half-way figured out! :)
