Any Flower Ideas?

any ideas for what type of what color boks and what type of flowers my BM's and I should have?

I attached a picture of my dress & the BM dress - the BM's dress color is European Taupe....keep in mind this is a Holiday wedding!

i originally was thinking red roses to keep in line with the holidays....

any other red flowers? or any other ideas?

i try searching for other winter brides, or different bok's but i don't see anything i like

ohhh and nothing too expensive!

I'm doing the christmas theme too. I'm carrying red roses and red calla lillies, while my BMs will be carrying white rose and white callas. You can also throw in some red berries.

Rusts and oranges would look great with those dresses.

I think dark red roses will look great with those dresses! I'm terrible with flower names though so I'm no help in that department lol.

I saw a couple bouquets that have those holiday berries in them- that looked really nice- I'll see if I can find some pics

I love the idea of red roses or pointsettas....besides roses are one of the more inexpensive flowers. And I just wanted to say that you look wayyyyyyyyy better in your dress than the model!

Do you have one of those Bridal Planner thingies?? I bought one and in the back it had a Flower catalog and it listed all the flowers in alphabetical order, with a picture and it even listed what seasons its available in. I'm trying to think of where else I have seen one of these before. I feel as though I have seen it in a bookstore in the wedding planning section.

I have no idea about flowers either so I found this little catalog very useful.

thanks guys!

i def like roses but i feel like just roses is a little too plain for me....i like the callas and i love berries....so we are on to something!

i just hope when i start looking at florists i can explain what i picture in my head.....b/c id like two types of flowers and berries - but i've never actually seen a bok like that......

These are similar to a pic above but I just love the way it looks.
It's a pic from a friends wedding so I'm not sure what they're called either because I too know nothing about flowers.

Make sure to take pics with you. I have been saving pictures of flowers whenever I see something I like, even if its one aspect of the bok. I'm just gonna dump them on the counter and be like' 'here's what i like, show me what you can do'

for the bridesmaids you can also do a white or an ivory flower and wrap the flowers in a christmas ribbon to incorporate the theme.

i was thinking the same - at my florist they were called dark magic roses; that's what i'm using with cymbidium orchids (i like the dark reds, and i'm in denial so no spring colors for me )
