My FH and I recently booked the winter garden pavilion room for an April 2016 wedding. We live out of state and had our families do the venue search for us. So I haven't even seen the room in person yet! I was wondering if anyone here has had their wedding there or has booked it as well. How was your experience and do you have any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!
I'm getting married at fox hollow but in the garden terrace room down the hall :) I love everything about it there! You'll love it! Kudos to you, trusting other people to look at venues for you! I could never give up the control like that lol.
Congrats! I'm a fox hollow bride but am also in the garden terrace room. However, my FH and I attended a wedding in the winter garden room this summer. It was beautiful! The couple had their ceremony outside in one of their garden areas and it was very nice. The room itself Is the smallest of the three room and is great for smaller weddings like the one we attended. By small, I mean a little over 100. It has high ceilings and we didn't feel cramped at all. Of course I am biased, but I think you are going to have a great experience with the fox hollow. Jessica is the coordinator over there: if you have any questions in regards to menus, table cloths...etc., she is very helpful. Best of luck!
I'm a Fox Hollow bride but in the Somerley! I've been to two weddings at FH before and they were both amazing
My FH's sister is getting married in the Winter Garden room in May 2016. They live in Manhattan, aren't from LI, AND booked it! You really don't have to do much because Fox Hollow is a full service venue, they take care of everything for you.
I am a Fox Hollow bride and am in the Winter Garden Pavilion room! Going to have dinner there next month to try out some food!
I was a Fox Hollow bride, but in the Somerley. Loved it there. The service was really great. And the bridal assistant and Maitre de was amazing

The next time I will be on the island is April of 2015 so I am planning on going to see the room and go eat at the restaurant. What sort of dress code are you using? I have a lot of out of town guests so I don't want it to be black tie or even black tie optional but I definitely don't want my guests to be under dressed.

The only preferred vendor we are using is their DJ, Body Rock. They actually installed all the uplighting in the room and we really clicked with them.
We aren't using any of their preferred vendors either. Our wedding is in the Somerley. I am expecting my guests to just wear cocktail attire.

Fox hollow Winter Garden Pavillion bride here! We looked at FH first, proceeded to visit other venues in and out of the area, came back 2 weeks later and reserved our date! I love sharing ideas with us fox hollow ladies, so I'll shoot you an invite to our FB group! :)

It's an AMAZING room. We were blown away by it in person. I know one girl who got married there and said she got comments from many guests saying how beautiful the room was. When I saw it in person, I could totally see why. I'm obsessed, its perfect!
