Me! Me! April 30, 2005. Can't wait. We'll be in the Mount Vernon Room--what about you ladies?
Are you planning on getting a permit to take pictures in the park across the road? Our schedule is tight and we won't have much time for pictures, but I think I want to get the permit anyway, in case we have time. They said it's only about $60.

We'll be in the Mount Vernon room, too. I'm not sure if we are going to do the park... The grounds of GWM are so beautiful as it is... and we are taking pics before the wedding, so we don't miss our cocktail hour... So we won't have as much time. Are you having your ceremony there as well? I am... I think it's the most perfect place.

I did a Google search for the website for GWM, very pretty ladies! I'm still on the fence as to where we'll actually tie the knot... anyone have any quotes they're willing to offer... is this place expensive? They can accomodate an outdoor wedding - right? Any info would be very helpful!

Not expensive at all... that's one of the reasons I'm having it there.... I know they have an outdoor cockatail party if you want, but I'm not sure if they do outdoor weddings.

I'm pretty sure that you cannot have an outdoor ceremony there. The grounds that they have are pretty small and are really only for taking pictures. There isn't room to set up a ceremony site. But they can do ceremonies in the other building, that used to be the barn.
