My fiance and I just booked at giorgios. We are booked for Nov 1,2008..

I hope to be a Giorgio's bride in '08 as well. We have gone to numerous catering halls on Long Island, yet keep coming back to Giorgio's. The facility is gorgeous. Did people think you were crazy to have booked the catering hall go far in advance? Any particular reason for that date? Are you getting the vienesse hour?

I AM A GIORGIOS BRIDE IN JULY. I BOOKED GIORGIOS IN DEC OF 2004. IT IS BETTER TO BOOK EARLY FOR BETTER PRICES.

I DO NOT KNOW HOW MUCH THEY ARE RUNNING A PLATE NOW, BUT IF YOU WANT YOU CAN FM ME AND I WILL TELL YOU MY COST IF THAT HELPS BUT REMEMBER I GOT 2004 PRICES

Well, we booked Giorgio's - 10/17/08!!! I am so excited to have the huge step of booking the catering hall out of the way!! It was starting to get a little old, spending every weekend in the car driving from catering hall to catering hall - just to say 'It doesn't compare to Giorgio's'. We booked our wedding with George Jr, and feel so comfortable working with him. The place is absolutely beautiful and can't wait for the big day!! Any suggestions to make our special day at Giorgio's unique? (ex. centerpieces, favors, etc.)

Thanks for adding me on the thread. Any advice for an upcoming Giorgio bride? Did you have the vienesse hour or 1 1/2 hour cocktail hour? Who did you use for you DJ/ band, florist, favors, limo's etc. Anything you would change about your special day?

HI Kim. We also booked with george Jr. He gave us the viennese table. When we booked I had a definite head count of 125. Now that i'm looking at it looks like 150 definite. George did say that if we have a higher head count they can add something to our package.

Did you have the full Viennese hour or the mini viennese? Which would you suggest? We also guaranteed 150.

he gave us the full viennese table. not the mini.
we took it because he gave it to us, not because we paid for it.. just look into their pricing per person. i think if im not mistaken is anywhere between $15 to $18 pp. so just see what's better for your budget. If he hadn't given it to us i don't think we would've paid for it. Only because they offer so much food as it is .but look into it.

im considering this place...starting to just look at everything though...i was curious where the prices start...if anyone has actually had their wedding there and has anything to add???

I went with Chateau La Mer.. they are absolutely gorgeous! May-Sept on a friday is 85 i think a saturday is around 100. We booked for April because it was cheaper! Good luck and Have fun! It is so exciting!!

Congratulations!

I'm a Giorgio's bride 7-7-07.

There is a showcase coming up in July, you have to make reservations. They will be serving their food and their house vendors will be there.

I've actually met with 2 photographers so far. Verdi and Brett n matthews... Verdi was expensive..
Yesterday I met w/ brett n Matthew, and I absolutely love them.. Very reasonable and they do amazing work.... I'm going to interview maybe 2 more. Marco is one of Giorgio's photographers, so i'll meet with them... good luck.

I really wanna go to the showcase to check it out, but my mom may be having surgery right around then and not be up to going....so i may take a friend or two instead...but i wanna go

for anyone who just booked...if you don't want to put it here would you mind fming with the prices and ballpark what you got???

Hi Girls

I booked at Giorgio's, but for Columbus Day weekend (October of 2007). So many of you are right. So many other places just do not compare.
