I still have to get my masters and Im scared that after Im married I wont be able to get loans bc of our combined income. Does anyone know anything about this? TIA!
I THINK you can usually get loans regardless of your income but they would be unsubsidized - meaning they accrue interest for the life of the loan. Subsidized loans, which is definitely dependent on income, do not accrue interest while you're in school and when you're in deferment.

Hi, Gail!!!!! How are you today? Well, Donna's Sis, Debi, wants to go back for her Masters in Guidance Counseling. She was hoping she would have her job for this year and next, to pay off debts, then go, but she might lose her job in June/July. I don't think she could get financial aid at this point, but I don't really know about these things. What do want to get your Masters in? Mary MOB

Hi, Gail!!!!! How are you today? Well, Donna's Sis, Debi, wants to go back for her Masters in Guidance Counseling. She was hoping she would have her job for this year and next, to pay off debts, then go, but she might lose her job in June/July. Hi Mary! Im good! How are you? I have my bachelors in elementary ed and special ed. and to keep my teaching certification I have to get my master in something. Im not sure what yet though. lol! Im pretty sure financial aid(grants) we wont be able to get but hopefully we will still be able to get some kind of loans! Otherwise I dont know what ill do.

I studied for both at the same time. I got my degree from St. Joseph's College and their program is for the dual certification
I am thinking of going to school part time after the wedding...I want to get my books out in the stores alredy! lol

I will still be in school after I am married BUT I do not pay tuition it is covered by the school as part of my stipend. I took out a student loan last year and my eligibility for funds was based on income. Maybe you could call the financial aid office of the school you are planning to attend and talk to them about it.
No idea but good point. I am starting my masters in January so i have a while to go before im done
