Re: Any girls thinking of...

Im all over the place ehen it comes to CP. 1 min I want cylindars with floating candles but then I really do want flowers. I say I should go with low bcuz it will be cheaper but then part of me wants tall CP with jewels.. or branches with flowers and jewels... idk ahh lol... I plan to meet with a florist next month to discuss ideas. I was speaking to the florist at the bridal show and she was telling me I can do a mix of low and cylindars or ive seen girls on here do a mix of low and high. I guess we'll see...

I have to say the mix of low and high really looks awesome at weddings. Or even high and then the cylinder floaty candle things.

Im all over the place with this. I really dont want to spend too much money. I have a minimum of 16 tables, and would love high but I dont think it will be in the budget. However FH wants candles, so I was thinking maybe the floating candles in the vases.. but I heard those are actually pricey as well! I havent even been able to find an example of something to bring with me to appointments.

Yes those can be really expensive also. 1 bride had it and I asked her how much and she told me $200 per CP!
At the bridal show I spoke with Distinctive Floral and they had a sample of 3 dif height cylinders with orchids, floating candles znd 4 votive candles around it with flower petals.. it looked so pretty and she told me something like that would be $85 per CP. She said glassware is expensive. Although that is still kind of pricey thats wayyyy better than $200!
If you want to go that route check out www.save-on-crafts.com for vases and such. Something I may consider.

I think were doing ... three cylinder vases with silk cherry blooms, and light pink water with floating candles on top on an LED base and two small votive candles, and then every other table would have one big cylinder with light pink water, silk cheery blooms, with a lamp shade on top and hanging crystals on an LED base. The person were thinking of using for lighting showed us samples of this and it looked amazing. I am thinking of then having the florist add flower petals on the bottom also.

I'm not doing tall ... I just getting ones that goes out and down bc my RH tables r long and putting one tall center piece will look stupid lol ... But I would do check out local florist bc they will be cheaper on the taller center pieces and what my friend did and the florist let her get the vases and she ended up saving so much ... Just a though :)

Thanks! I was afraid it was going to be really expensive but if we rent them it was not bad at all!

I agree! The WM tables are so long and the ceiling is on the lower side. However, one of the Brides' Review had mid-way size & it look awesome in that room, but then it pretty much blocked everyone's view of each other lol

Re: Any girls thinking of...

we decided on all tall CP's with Flowers ( no fillers) hanging crystals on half of them since we are having about 18 tables. also candles on the tables

we did tall centerpieces for our wedding. I think they really add character to a room and make it look amazing!

Wow sucks you HAVE to use your RH florist. Check them out when you can and see what the quote you for everything including vases and then w/o then see if buying your own will ebe cheaper. You can also look into the option of renting if either of those florist allow that.

r there places other then florists that rent vases?

Re: Any girls thinking of...

We are going 1/2 tall, 1/2 short. We have at least 15 tables, and it will be 8 tall and 7 short. If we add another table, we will add another short one.

I'm so bad when it comes to this. I had it figured out with low vases and yesterday I went to the bridal show at Fox Hollow and fell in love with the tall but think it might be too much money. Perhaps if I buy less groceries for us each week maybe I can put that extra into a 'I Want Tall Vases' piggy bank
