I am getting married at Glen Island Harbour Club this november. Im wondering if anyone has any feedback about hotels, limos, or hair/make-up people in that area??? Thanks!

Hi. I am in the same boat as you. I am getting married at Glen Island on Deceember 6th. I am also looking for Limo's. I curently booked a hair trail with Mia but she is located in LI ( and I live in Manhattan). As for hotels, we have reserved rooms at the Crowne Plaza and Radisson ( New Rochelle) but so far, no shuttle buses.

Silver Star, really well known and reputable limo company up there.
I know of an 06er who's wedding was there ... 7706bride.

Im getting married there June 28, 2009. The only vendors I've used up in Westchester are for photo/video, flowers and my band.
I think for limos, makeup, hair I'm going to use vendors in LI.

I'm getting married there 06/11/2010! Haven't really started looking into vendors yet... However, friends of ours got married there recently and used Regency Photographers. I was at a wedding two years ago at the VIP and stayed at the Radisson which was ok... It wasn't a 5 star hotel or anything, but it was clean. Other friends of ours were also recently married and we stayed at the Westchester Renaissance Hotel in Whte Plains which was really beautiful! I'd recommend thay hotel over the ones up in New Rochelle. Also, another nice option might be the Ritz Carlton up in White Plains. Not sure how $$ they are, but you might be able to get a wedding discount rate.
