Any GLENMAR brides?

I guess they learned they were losing a lot of business.

They asked me what they could do to get me to sign with them right then and there, I said give me the DVD and they wouldn't. They said they would give it after 3 years. Just check that they will give it to you ASAP.

I'm glad to hear they changed their minds on that.

They WILL NOT tell you 3 YEARS. My disk is available upon picking up my album, and is clearly written on my contract. It is unfortunate some terrific vendors are not being used due to mis-information on this website. Glenmar has been in business since 1971 and, this is just one of the many reasons I chose them.

The DVD is available for a nominal fee just be smart about how you negoatiate. Be up front, tell them other studios are giving this disk. They will work with you. Glenmar will also not over sell you like soooo many studios.

I do..

and I'm just trying to be honest. I spoke with Barbara over at Glenmar ..and now that I am looking at my paperwork from her. It does say that it includes a free CD of all the photos...What it DOES NOT SAY: HIGH RES DVD OF ALL PHOTOS. A CD with all the photos will not be reproduceable.

I am not on here to bad mouth vendors. We are here to make sure that everyone gets the best vendors at the best prices.

Barbara flat out asked me how she could get me to sign with them and leave a deposit on July 17, 2008 (not that long ago) and I said give me the HIGH RES DVD and she said no, only after 3 years I could get it so I took my business elsewhere and found a lot better.

Hopefully they have changed their policy.

Their prices were also higher than any other place I went to, without giving that DVD.

Okayyy I am a real person. :0)
I pulled out my contract, and it said the following:
'Client will get High RES DVD after deliverly of album'. THis album is included in my package...I I am able to reproduce all images.
Let's face it though... not all photography studios want to give you a disk because this is how they make their living, reproducing pictures and albums. They gave me several things for free.
I think sometimes it's the attitude you go in with and the representative you work with too.
If anybody would like the name of Representative I worked with FM me. I guess Barbara would not be a good choice though. My package was very reasonable photo and video for a little over $5,000

It's important to walk in the door with a good attitude... Because you are negotiating a price, and a service. It’s like any other large purchase or investment you would make in yourself.
My Sales Representative was very nice, and totally agreed with me when I explained the importance of obtaining this disk, and I explained that many of their competition are now doing so. I checked The Better Business Buearo website, and they have an excellent record.

your attitude shouldn't matter that much in this economy. Everyone is hurting for business. It's all a matter of which sales person you get.

I found them to be very pushy there and overbearing, others have said the same thing. I'm sure they also dealt with Barbara.
