Just got off the phone with my sister. She said she wanted to have a 'diva' themed shower for me. I love the idea and she said if I come up with any ideas to let her know. So far she was thinking of white table covers with a silver overlay. Centerpieces would consist of sparkling cupcakes. Please share your ideas with me!!

What about incorporating the famous singing Divas (I don't know how you feel about some of them though) Mariah, Whitney, Madonna, etc... like only playing their music or using one of their 'things' like Mariah has to have toy stuffed lambs where ever she goes....
They should have you walk around in a feather boa and a tiara....
Make sure you throw a fit when the water is served at 71 degrees....
She could post a fake 'rider' with all your 'special' requirements ...

What about some of those big fake diamond rings on the tables? Or in those big martini glasses? Def. have cool prizes if you're playing games - give away inexpensive handbags, etc. For favors - do bath or beauty products

I know I saw something about themed showers in a magazine a few months ago and I KNOW they had a diva themed shower. Let me look in my collection (of course, I keep all my wedding mags) and see if I can find it.
One idea is to have a signature cocktail for the shower--something that you created--and call it the Diva. Also, someone has to get you one of those fake sparkly tiaras from Party City and a boa. No diva would be complete without her tiara and boa

If it's the one I think you're talking about (a diamond ring paperweight), they also sell them at www.marshallfields.com and they're sometimes on sale for $15. Good luck!

That would be great if you could get me that article!! I all ready had the drink in mind. Every diva loves Cosmos!! I also saw this cute cake that had a high heel as a cake topper on it. I'll see if I can find that picture!!

At our e-party they put one of those huge diamond rings on it! it was soo funny and HUGE, I could put it on my wrist!

My friend did a martini shower where they had tons of different types of martinis set up in different parts of the room.
It was very cool, but a little dangerous!!

Okay, I have a tiara and I randomly wear it around the house when I'm feeling sad. It never fails to cheer me up. I lost my pink boa at a sorority party though. It fell victim to someone's spilt beer
