Any good Photographers?

We are using Mark Kaufman studios for our wedding next year and have had nothing but good experiences with him so far. Several other brides on this board have come back to rave about his photographers after the wedding. He is very flexible with his packages - if you want to save $$$ you can just pay for the photography now and pick out/pay for your album after the wedding.

Some other info

I am not sure how much you want to spend? If you are looking for $2500ish range try VIP Studios. You can two photographers, nice albums and the guy is very nice to work with. I am using Mark Kauffman but he is not on the inexpensive side. When all is said and done he costs over $3000, and that is not with a huge album package either. His studio is excellent but if you are on a under $2000 budget then he is not really right for you. I know that Fine Arts is over $3000 and so is Verdi, Imagine Studios, Ray O'Connor. You can e-mail me at [email protected] if you want more details. I have one piece of advise, speak to the photographer when you call. Tell him/her your budget. If they do not have a package in that range do not see them. It just makes your decision more difficult. I got that piece of advise when I started planning and it has really helped me a lot. Good Luck!!

I absolutely have to recommend...

Michael O`Neill Photography of East Northport. Michael was our wedding day photographer and we enjoyed working with him. Plus, as you can tell from my other post, I am so thankful for his 100% weather guarantee. Taking pictures was not just some routine for him, especially the outdoor ones we just had restaged. Kathy does the bookings and is very helpful and accommodating. I definitely say they are at least worth looking into. http://www.monphoto.com

I absolutely have to recommend...

I'm using VIP studios and am getting under 2000 b/c we are not getting parent albums (neither parent wanted)Its a good way to cut back on any photographer...my mother said she wanted some 8 x10s instead to display rather than a book that gets hidden away. I wasn't thrilled with ADA - I felt like it was a 'factory'...I would shop around

Mark Kauffman Studios were incredible...

Lynn and Tony worked with us at our 9/2/01 wedding at the Port Jeff Country Club. We could not be happier with the results! We've scanned some pictures if you'd like to take a look: http://photos.yahoo.com/shelby27_0527 They were friendly and unobtrusive and really put us at ease. Of all the money we spent on our wedding, this by far was the best investment!!! Good luck with your planning! Michele
