Any Good Reception sites on the water?

Hey everyone!

I am newly engaged and looking to have my reception in a really classy/elegant 1 wedding at a time reception hall on the water (possibly with access to a beach) somewhere on LI. I have 150 guest and have a temporary date of July 12, 2008. Does anyone have any ideas?? HELP!!

Thanks!!

If you have any pictures - that will help too.

Lands End (1 wedding)
Venetian Yacht Club (2 weddings)
Crescent Beach Club (1 wedding- I think)
Chateau La Mer (2 weddings at a time)
Riviera (1 wedding)
Atlantica (1 wedding)

Check the reception site guide for more

Thanks for your help. If you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying p.person? I loved Lands End as well but they gave me a $185 p.p, quote for a saturday night July 2008 date. i thought that was VERY high and it turned me off. Let me know what you think. THANKS!

The Thatched Cottage is on the water and very reasonable in my opinion! I am getting married in March though so it is def cheaper than July.

The thatched cottage is very nice! Price will go down with the more people you have.

June Fri - $85
Sat - $90

July Fri - $90
Sat - $95

Another nice place on the water is The Harbor club. We almost booked there but thought it just might be too snug with 200.

That was $95 for a Fri night or $110 for a Sat night.

Ganother ORGEOUS PLACE is Lombardi's on the sound. But the price for a July 08 wedding was over $120 and they dont have any June or July Fri or Sat night dates currently available.

Good luck

Ps; We have the same wedding date

The harbor Club! Right on Huntington Harbor, so you've got all the boats in the backround, plus pretty gardens and great food. I can't wait!

We liked VYC a lot too, but we're having the ceremony at the hall and their outdoor area was a little small. SImilar rices to Harbor Club.

We're having 150 peope too.

Definitely The Riviera! Awesome prices and 1 wedding at a time. The outdoor area is beautiful overlooking the bay..unfortunately it will be too cold for us to enjoy the outside but it's still a gorgeous view from the inside!

windows on the lake is very pretty and on the water. It caters to one wedding at a time and is less money than a lot of other places we looked at.
