Not a stupid question - I just asked it a couple of weeks ago - LOL
Apparently, if you purchase a dress at a trunk show you get a percentage off.

The dresses are not used - I don't know why the prices are reduced. You don't buy them off the rack as far as I know - you still order dress in your size.
