Looking specifically for the Waldorf-Astoria. I searched and found Expedia had the cheapest rate, but there's a no-refund policy and I'll be 37+ weeks pg when I need to stay... soooo, does anyone have any good sites for discount rates??

Thanks, ladies!! Jenny, I have a wedding at the Waldorf, so it would be *ideal*!! 45 bucks for parking...are they nuts?!
Kathi...we were surprised that a 5 star hotel in Spain charged us $15 a day for parking!! don't you think that should be included?

Yes, I do!!!! OMG... 45 bucks. Crazy! I have to ask the BTB if she got any discount parking for her wedding guests... I hope so!!
Meanwhile, Expedia has a room for $159 and every other 'discount' site I've checked is $180... decisions, decisions. It would be SO convenient to stay there. The wedding ends at 1 a.m. and I'll be so frikkin' exhausted (if I make it 'til 1).
if you can swing it...I would go for it...I went to a wedding at a hotel and it ended at 1am...boy were we happy at 1:15 strolling down the hall to our room...
someone mentioned to me to call the hotel directly and tell them the price you were offered and will they match this...
i'm surprised the Bride didn't have a block...good luck
