Okay, so I hear a lot of girls talking about Christmas so I figured I'd ask the Jewish girls (or girls marrying Jewish guys) what they're doing for Hannukah...
We usually celebrate Xmas with friends of the family. For Hannukah we're xchanging with my family the 16th and his family the 17th.

fh and I have Hannuka dinner on the 16th with fh's mom, stepdad and stepdads family. And a second Hannuka dinner on the 23rd with fh's mom stepdad and mom's family. and then xmas and xmas eve dinner with my family. lots of food food and family fun
eta: my dog is sporting her Hannuka bandana around her neck. She is very festive. I need to post a pic

Oh, you have to send a pic. that's too cute. I want a puppy so bad, but I think we're gonna wait till we get back from the honeymoon to look.
FH and I aren't exchanging for Hannukah. Just with everyone else b/c we're going to get the wedding bands soon.

I will post a pic after work. She has her hair grown in so she just looks so adorable. As for exchanging presents. We pretty much just wrap up necessities that we need. Fh is getting new hockey pants and Norton antivirus. I am getting new shoes and a surprise. There will be no big gifts for us this year. As for the rest of the family we only really buy for the kids in the family. The adults don't exchange so we get away easy.

We are going to the annual family Hanukkah party on the 17th. My FH LOVES Hanukkah and is being super cute and inviting all of our friends for a latke party as well at some point, though the date is tbd. I have NO idea what to get him for a gift though...any suggestions?

Wow... I have no clue. I'm so glad FH and I aren't exchanging just so we can save for real nice wedding bands and we're looking to get a flat screen too... don't ask b/c we already have huge TV's.
there's always... clothes (cute stuff to wear for the honeymoon, bachelor party, our any other celebration), IPOD Nana, electronics, games. I saw this great hot coco maker I bought for his family Hannukah grab bag. I want to win it for myself. LOL!
THis is mine and FH's first Hannukah Living together, in our new Jewish Home. I am going all out. Menorah, Latkes, the whole 9 yards. Not so sure about gifts though......we just bought a house (moved in last week) and have a wedding in 8 weeks so we're a little tight.....yikes. I think just small stuff like socks, candy, etc.
I'm saving the flat screen tv he wands as a surprise housewarming gift......when I get my next comission check!
