The new trailer for the first part of the final installment in the Harry Potter franchise has been released and it sends our favorite Hogwarts students to London for a nightmare on the town.
Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Ruper Grint) spend a large amount of time looking alternately pensive, frightened and worried in the two minute clip of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” as He Who Shall Not Be named has taken over their school and the Ministry of Magic.
'These are dark times there is no denying,' says new Minister of Magic Rufus Scrimgeour (Bill Nighy). 'Our world has faced no greater threat than it does today.'
With Dumbledore dead, it is up to some other brave soul to battle the Dark Lord and his evil band of Horcruxes. Being the high achiever that he is, Harry must be dissuaded from fighting this war on his own - so he enlists his best friends to travel to London town with him to seek out Voldemort.
'The longer we stay here, the stronger he gets,' Potter spurts.
The teens are subsequently seen in the midst of London looking very out of place, not the least of which is because Hermione is wearing a very expensive looking poppy red dress.
While they are in the Big Smoke, several Harry Potters are created to keep Voldemort off the young wizard's scent. To no avail, he appears to find them anyway, perhaps because he and Ron have been fighting so loudly over whose parents are dead and whose aren’t.
'I have seen your heart,' the Dark Lord says at the end, 'and it is mine.'
'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' hits theaters Nov. 19.
