My FMIL frequently uses a very nice place on Merrick Rd. in Massapequa (across from the Hess Station). The woman does such nice work and some of the flowers look so real! I think I am going to use her decorated bird cage for my card table. I can't think of the name of the shop right now but I can get it if you are interested. Are you just looking for flowers or something made up?

If you just want a good selection I would suggest going out to Floral Fantasy in Patchogue. It is a little far but they have everything! Favors, Headpieces, veils, ribbon accessories. etc. at very good prices. They also have a HUGE floral dept. Definitely worthe the drive.

Try Michael's. My mom's friend works there and they have a big selection.

I'm not crafty though and I believe you need to put them together yourself...OR...you can pay them to do it.

It's worth a shot...I'm getting silk flowers for my pew bows from there...

do you want centerieces/boquets? my friend just told me the wedding center does this.........please post more info on what you want to do w/the flowers....

a question for mrs2be........that is a great idea to use silk flowers for your pew bows--you'll probably save some $$$....who will set the pew bows up for you?

I asked my florist if they would put them up for me and they said it was fine.

My sister did the same thing for her wedding...

I would also say Patchogue Floral Fantasyland. They have everything there, and have people there that could make arrangements for you. Good luck!

thanks mrs2be........i was quoted $350 for (i believe) 8 pew bows and some alter arrangements...i haven't picked a florist yet, but when i do i will inquire about that......are you making them yourself?

Sorry. My aunt copied this flower girl dress from US angels. She made 2 of them for my flower girls, and I need the petals for the dress.....

2002wedding - my mom's friend works in the floral dept. at Michael's so she's making them for me.

I am NOT crafty!!

Michael's does sell boxes of Pew Bows though...or you could make your own if you know what you're doing...
