Any idea why my coffee maker doesnt work all of a sudden?

Any idea why my coffee maker doesnt work all of a sudden?
I did everything normal, put water, filter and coffee and pressed the on button. It lights up like its on but doesnt do anything.
Its only a few monyths old.
Any ideas? I messed w/ it a little already. Help, I am going through coffee withdrawals.
Its a Mr. Coffee maker.

did you wiggle the filter and then make sure the pot is on there right? Sometimes if mine is jsut a little off that same thing happens
