any ideas??

here's the deal, my father passed away 14 years ago, i have asked my mothers boyfriend of 17 years to give me away, he has always been good to me, now my dilema is what song to dance with him to?? i want something sentimental but not father/daughter, afterall, he's not my dad....i already cry at the thought of not having my dad there on my wedding day, but i do want to share a special song with my mothers boyfriend.....HELP!!!!

Re: any ideas??

Maybe you can dance with you mom instead...or if you do dance with your moms bf then I say you can still use a sentimental song...if hes been around for 17 years he has to be very special and he must love you...u might want to do something like 'thank you for loving me' by bon jovi or even dance with your moms bf and have the dj announce that its a song dedicated to your late father.
