My Dh informed me that we need to bring an appetizer to a bbcue that we're going to tonight. Anybody have any ideas on something simple and quick that I can bring??

I sometimes bring fruit salad inside a large watermelon. strawberries, blueberries, pineapples, basically everything.
and cut large watermelon slices around the sides.
Put on a large dish from party experience for decoration.
sometimes we pour malibu rum on the fruit and let it sit overnight
