Any ideas

Hi Im not getting married in 07 but I see so many ideas floating on this site, thought it would be a good idea to ask. My DH and I are re-newing our vows and since its a renewl I really dont want an extravegant wedding, but I still want it elegant and memorable. What ideas does any one have?
****Not getting married at a church prefer to do a ceremony and reception at a Hall.

you should try brentwood country club. or larkfield manor is soo nice. you should get good prices for halls in nov. good luck!!!

I threw a 10 year anniversary party for my parents (2nd marriage for my mom to her HS sweetheart) at a restaurant with a private room - I had a friend (who is a minister) come an renew their vows at the restaurant - we kind of set up a 'mock' aisle and altar for them... but we only had 40 people... if you're looking to have more - or about the same - try the Stewart Manor Country Club - it's a small place and looks like a house - ask for James Poirot - he's the maitre'd and will work with you with EVERYTHING.

Thank you for those ideas, I like the Country Club idea.I think its the way to go, I want someplace I can have our ceremony and then the reception afterwards. So people go from one place to the next no extra traveling needed. I know I have a while but I like looking at places and doing things a little early (understatement) so when DH and I sit down and go over things there no arguments or surprises.
