Is that where you took yours? can you insert some pics so I can see? That is kind of far for us since we live in Great Neck. Not sure my photographer would travel there.

The gazebo in Garden City is nice and also free of charge. A few ladies took their e pics there. I didn't take mine yet so I have no pics to show you. Also Morgen Park is nice in Glen Cove.

From what I heard you can take pictures at the old westbury gardens. Unlike the bridal pictures fee, all you have to do is pay for admission. The grounds are gorgeous!!

was there a fee for taking pictures at the planting fields if you are not getting married there?

I think the same applies to the Planting Fields...call and see what can be worked out.

Since you live in Great Neck the most convenient place might be the Merchant Marine Academy in King Point.
Last time I checked they have the grounds open to visitors certain hours and certain days. There are also views of the city (one bridge, can't think right now) and you can have that as one of your backdrops.

FM ckgmwedding. Her name is Christine (CA bride) and she is getting married there.

I don't think there is a fee.

we didn't do an eng. shoot. but FH and go there often to walk around. A few months ago we saw a couple there taking photos. I thought it was a great idea. It's so pretty there! and not too crowded.
