I love the way the perls look with the dress, are you considering perls or crystals? How will you have your hair, up/down? - cause that would influence the earings.

I like pearls -- small strand close to neck to avoid competing with the stunning lace.

I love pearls but my mom is against them.. that stupid superstition.. anyway my tiara has them anyway. here is a pic of that

Re: any ideas what kind of jewlery??
i had the same pearl superstition...so much so that the only jewelry that really would have worked with my dress would have been a pearl choker...i had all this jewelry picked out and then the night before the wedding, as a joke, we put a piece of white ribbon around my neck and it worked! Anyway, sorry, got off on a random note. i think that a vintage charm on a chain would be beautiful.
If not perls, I think a diamond - or diamonique- - pendant would look nice.
Maybe you can wear a pretty pendant on a gold chain. I think it would be very elegant. And, since you are wearing your hair up, the earings could be a long, one strand, with the ending matching to the pendant.
I think that would really be nice, and not take away from the lace.
Edited to say: Kinda like the one on top

what do you girls think of this one?? I fell in love w/ it but not sure if it goes.. plus its like 2500 at tiffanys
I've never heard of the pearl superstition either - but that necklace is gorgeous - i think you need something simple and not too invovled for your gown - you dont want to clash with the lacing - that necklace is the simplicity you need - although the price tag sucks!

What is pearl superstition? Thanks -- I love it!
It goes something like for every pearl you wear that day will be a tear shed during the marriage I never heard of it till my mom brought it up a few weeks ago

I think that dress is so pretty. I would definately wear a small strand of pearls. Nothing too big or overwhelming. The lace on the dress is stunning. And, pearl stud earrings. (JMO).
Love it!

I never heard that one and am wearing pearls. Oh well, crying is good for, well I don;t know. Anyway, I think the key for you is SIMPLICITY so as not to compete with that fab gown.

I would forgo a necklace and wear some small dangly earrings.. that way you can get some sparkle, some pearls and it does not interfere with the dress.

I love the style of the Tiffany necklace...I bet you can find something like it without spending so much money. I would definitely wear something that dangles, rather than a choker.

Well, tears can also be happy ones! I say go with pearls. That Tiffany's necklace is gorgeous!
