I thought i would have the florist take care of decorating the church for me. But, it was so expensive. I'm not paying someone $25 for a freaking bow! Is it just me or is that a bit expenisve. It's a bow! And for every one, it's $25! And flowers on the pews are just as much. I'm sorry. My ceremony is going to be under a half hour. I just can't see spending hundreds of dollars for a half hour. BUT, i do want to make it look somewhat nice. so at least it looks like there's a wedding going on ya know? any suggestions on how to make it look elegant and NOT spend a lot of $$$$$??

Get already made bows (michael's, etc). Get some pipe cleaners (white) so you can attach everything. Get a roll(s) of tulle, greenery, etc.
We are getting fresh cut flowers at Cosco /price club for cheap to do quick deco for pews with the bows.
The chapel I have chosen, has stairs from the bridal suite upstair so we are using the tulle for the railing.

I am buying bows & tool to decorate my house (the railing) for the big day.
search 'weddings' they sell one dozen pew bows for $14.95.
And, they sell other nic nacs on that site too. It's mostly sold in bulk, some things are cheap and cheesy but you can search through the gazillion pages of wedding stuff to pick out the non-cheesy items.

I'm getting roses from costco to decorate my house with flowers for the wedding too! I plan on placing a couple arrangements around the house...

you can just get ribbon and that bow maker thingy from ac moore...i think it was likr magic bow or something and it is a fool proof way to make a bow...i am bow making dummy when it comes to that and that thing helps
