Re: Any info on Oheka Castle?
I have found Rick at Oheka an absolute pleasure to work with. I think they may have changed some of their prices because I am not being charged all of what is listed here. One of the main reasons I went with Oheka is because they were not nickle and diming us on everything. I have not been charged any extra for changes in menu and I have found them to be very flexible. I did hear that they used to be strict with vendors and stuff, but now they just request that the vendors carry insurance.Hope that helps :o)

So wait, there is a $10,000 site fee PLUS a $240 per person charge?
Holy Crappola!!!!![]()
That's $35,000 for just the reception for a guestlist of 150 people. Yikes!
No, that's $46,000 just for a guest list of 150.

Re: Any info on Oheka Castle?
Hmm I can't believe they had to pay for the bridal suite for the night! They are giving me a suite the day of to get ready/pictures/bridal party breakfast, my FH and his groomsmen a suite the day of and then one of the two suites as a bridal suite for us that night! Both sets of parents are getting rooms too....Guess we got lucky!

Re: Any info on Oheka Castle?
I think that info is probably incorrect. I got married at Oheka on a saturday in september. One night in the suite is always included. That account doesn't sound accurate at all.

Re: Any info on Oheka Castle?
I was married at OHEKA in the winter an loved it! I was married two years ago in the main ballroom, not the new one (it was not built yet). I loved the fact that the two fireplaces were on throughout my wedding. Also since OHEKA is such a beautiful place inside there were a ton of places for us to take pictures. I have to agree with the other OHEKA brides, our suite was included along with rooms for three sets of parents (my parents are divorced). Also valet and some other things mentioned were also standard. One of the reasons why I loved OHEKA was because I felt they included EVERYTHING in the price right off the bat from the 9 stations at cocktail to the Dessert Cafe. The only upgrade I made was the Jazz hour, which I felt was worth it. One suggestion if you get married in the winter, when our guests arrived instead of being served the traditional champagne as they were shown the cocktail hour I had hot apple cider (with and without alochol). Everyone loved the extra detail! If you have any questions, feel free to FM me.

I think that Oheka Castle is the perfect place to get married in any time of year!!Too bad it might be too expensive for me.
I just went there and these are the prices they told me for january and february...
fri 150 pp
sat 200 pp
sun 170 pp
(1/2 price rental fee and 21 deluxe guest rooms are included!!!)
December thru april the prices go up. And may to nov prices are really high.
Good luck!

Re: Any info on Oheka Castle?
I was married at Oheka in October. Although the cost of a wedding is a little high, it was completely worth it. To this day, our guests say that it is the best wedding they have ever been to, by far. Everyone had an amazing time, the food was amazing and the service is the best. We also had a bridal suite to get ready in the day of the wedding, a grooms suite for all of the groomsmen to hang out in and they included the bridal suite for us to stay in the night of the wedding. Would be happy to answer any more questions.Welcome New Vendors
