any Irish Dancers out there?

I hope this is the correct place to post this.

I'm an Irish Dance Teacher, non TCRG.
I dance with Mise Eire for 12 years then went out on my own and currently teach for 3 dance studios. I taught for Inishfree for a few months, but Sean and I don't seem to see eye to eye.
I always wanted to have a few of my students do a slip jig down the isle in place of flower girls, but then Joe's two nieces were born, so we have flower girls, and besides that, he didn't like the idea of using students in the bridal party.
I do want to have dancers perform during the reception.. but what school?
My father approached Patti (Mise Eire) prior to our engagement party and (to my surprise) he asked if she could get some of the girls I danced with to do our most famous number. Now I don't get along with those girls, but it's actually what I wanted, because ID is such a huge part of my life and they were there with me through the good times and the bad, winning the O's, it's a bond that no matter what we share.
Come the day of the party (I didn't know he asked her) they are a no show. St. Patricks day came and I had a show with a friend then went to the AOH to pick up my father and as we were walking back into the bar we passed Patti, now Joe and I had our engagement party at the AOH and I had spoken briefly with Patty, and it was uncomfortable on both ends, but years ago even after I left we could talk for hours.. I know why, but won't share that.. anyway.. we're walking in and my father is pretty intoxicated at this point, walks up to Patti, who's in conversation and says 'we need to talk before I leave, I'm really upset with you' and she says 'ok'.. I asked my father what that was about and he wouldn't tell me.. he did after we left. I wanted to cry.
Now I wish they would have shown or that he wouldn't have asked!
Because I had wanted to ask her but couldn't bring myself to do so.. and after the party I decided I'd ask her for the wedding.. but now knowing this.. I can't ask, I can't trust that they'd show.

So... I've been in the ID world for 17 years, I know most TCRG's on long island, sean regan, patti love, peggy white, debbie mulvihill, the petri sisters, schade famiy, etc.
So.. if there are any Irish Dancers out there... I need your advise and opinions..

I doubt this thread will have a big response, but hey, I'm trying...

THANK YOU!!!

will you have friends that danced with you be at your wedding? you could put on a mini-show at the reception.

I'm friends with ONE, and she left the school before me, we did a 'show' on st. pats and swear we'll never do it again, we're so out of shape as we no longer compete.
I know a few other dancers, but they are from different schools and usually the TCRG (teacher) won't allow them to perform without their school.. I'm just not sure what school to use or if I should try Patti again, because they mean the most to me and there's that one dance we did 10 years ago that would just mean the world to me if it was done, along with others that would be more of a surprise to me.
I don't want to dance at my wedding, I did at the engagement party... ok, maybe I'll do one step, but that's it!

well, if you don't want to dance, i think your best bet is to hire them from one of the schools... i don't think you can go around to different dancers from different schools and try to get them together. it would be one thing if they were all your friends and would be at the wedding dancing with you.

I don't know if this helps and I'm not an ID, but I've had good experiences with the O'Malley dance academy in Brooklyn. They've performed for block parties in the area and are very nice. Maybe give them a call:
