Any JHS(Japanese Hair Straightening) brides out there?

Any JHS(Japanese Hair Straightening) brides out there?

I need serious hair help!! I haven't scheduled any hair trials yet bc I'm scared they'll tell me my hair won't hold the way I want it to. Any rec's, experiences, ideas??

Ohhhhh!!! I don't have one now but I did have this done to my hair during prom season... they were able to get it to curl, if that helps! But it was a tighter up-do, not down. I am not sure if down would have held-- up had a lot of hairspray in lol. Maybe switch to keratin til your wedding, if you have time????

Nope no time
I knew this would be an issue when the wedding came around. My friend suggested doing a lot of hair extensions and then curling it all together.

Isn't it funny how we fight the curls our whole life, and then it comes back to bite ya in the butt in the end???? I would try to work WITH whatever your hair is willing to hold, not against. If you're going to do the extensions definitely try it first. I would also ask the stylist for tips. I am sure they see this all the time!

I've been getting the Japenese straightening for a few years now and don't ever have a problem getting my hair done and it staying. Trick is always in the hairspray. And lots of teasing. But it can definitely be done.

I used to get it done for years! And currently a few of my friends still get it done. I miss it sooooooooooooo much it was the best thing I ever did, prolly will do it again. The best part is it takes all the frizz out!!Your hair is always straight and it makes it look healthier. I highly recomend it esp. if you have thick frizzy hair.

I have been getting the 'JHS' for 11 years now. I was told that if you are going to get your hair straightened do it more than a month out from your wedding. For some reason after a month or so the hair holds curls better. I just got my hair straightened in June and I am going to do it again in the beginning of October. My wedding is on November 12th.
