Hey guys! I dont even wanna start looking yet...I wanna wait til July....but every time i talk to someone...they are eaither getting married in July like me....or AFTER me....and already have their dress....did i miss the boat???

NO!!! i haven't even thought about that yet. do you have your dj/florist/transportation??? i feel behind, all i have is the church and hall booked

We have our church/reception, DJ and photo/video.
Ive been looking at BM dresses....but im afraid ill fall in love with one.....and my dress will look the same...so i wanna get my dress first!!!
Ugg....ive been looking in Magazines...does that count? hehehe

I'm planning to start dress shopping in the summer too. You're already way ahead of me, all I have booked so far is the hall.
I look in magazines too, when I say dress shopping,I mean actually going to the stores and trying things on! I'm not ready for that just yet, although I am tempted. I was buying a dress in macy's the other day and the bridal shop was right next to where I was, I was tempted, but did not go in.

No...I haven't started looking just yet. I want to start Weight Watchers first...which hopefully will be tomorrow
My best friend and MOH is getting married this July and ordered her gown this past October I believe. We have time...

I am going to probably start looking in the late spring/early summer. I've looked in magazines but I haven't gone to a store or anything yet. I can't wait to go though!!

You have a lot of time. I just found 'the one' sooner rather then later and jumped on it because I did not want to wait and have it be discontinued. I don't regret getting my dress early at all, but if you don't feel like looking yet, don't feel pressured to. You have time.

Yea I wasnt planning on ordering mine either but I wanted to 'feel engaged' and try on dresses... PS I wound up ordering my dress.

I wasn't planning to get my gown until this summer but i was soooo tempted to go and look and i found 'the one' also. so i ordered it in November. You have plenty of time. Some dresses take 12 months to come in so i would say to play it safe, start looking this summer. It's funny, everything i do is usually really early!!!

My bro and fsil are getting married July 15th '06. My Fsil is not looking @ dresses until the summer. You are not behind. They do have hall, photo/video, and dj booked. They have to do limos next.

I've looked in magazines and online. I really like Maggie Sottero dresses, but I haven't tried any on yet.
My sister is getting married in Vegas in August (I'm her MOH and she's mine!), so we'll be doing her dress shopping first. I'll be tempted to try on, but I don't want to take away from her moment. Of course, my mom may just think it's easier to do both at the same time!

I wasn't planning to start looking until this April but I just unexpectedly found the one & bought it. Plus, the designer I chose can take 9-12 months to order the dress!
