If the issue is with the attorney not releasing money that's being held in escrow for your mother, then you did the right thing contacting the office. Keep on them. If it turns out that the issue is not that their relocating, but withholding the funds inappropriately then you can report the attorney to the Grievance Committee for the behavior. As far at the creditor that is pursuing your mother for your father's debt, she may need an attorney that does bankruptcy work and has some expertise. I would need to know more about the situation before I'd even try to tell you what she should do. Have they filed suit against her? or are they just contacting her to make good on your father's debt. Have they damamged her credit or placed a lien on something. If there is not, then there may not be as much urgency to the situation as you think.
