Any Lessings Brides or Soon-2-Be?

Just wondering what their cakes are like. A 3-tiered cake is included in my contract, but I'm just wondering what they look like. (I haven't gotten into any details with them yet since my wedding isn't until Sept. of next year.)

I got married at Lessing's Smithtown Landing last September and got a cake. They did a beautiful job. I actually got four tiers -- basketweave design, choc. cake w/raspberry filling. Audrey's Bakery made the cakes for Lessing's when I got married --- here is there web site. They have some pictures of their cakes on there.

oh...if Audrey's does it!!! YOU WILL HAVE A FANTASTIC CAKE!!!!

I usually take a bite of the wedding cake and say 'OK that one sucked too.' but I couldn't get over HOW GOOD audrey's cakes were...

Im really contemplating not waiting the year to eat another piece...lol

What dishes would you guys recommend?? Did any of your guests rave about anything in particular?

Who did you guys work with? I've had the opportunity to meet with Ben twice and he's been great! Very accomodating!!!

Not Audreys, but Lessings. Just curious about the menu selections and what people liked.

I am a Lessing Bride to Be, less than 2 months! I ordered my cake though Lessings that uses Audrey's cakes, I got to pick everything and what it will look like, I chose this swiss dot design, see below. Do all Lessing places have the same entrees? If so, we are doing prime rib, chicken Kiev, and salmon.

We also had the Chicken Kiev, Prime Rib and Salmon. I had the chicken -- very yummy -- from the few bites I got to eat. Everyone said the food was very good. Hubby had prime rib and loved it too. Don't know if menu is same at all locations. Which location are you getting married at?

I am going to book the Smithtown Landing, and I was told by a few friends that Audrey's cakes are wonderful. One friend was married at Flowerfield and they use the same bakery. I cannot wait to go and look at the cakes, but I have a long time since I am October of 04 bride. Still have tons of planning to do
