Any Letterpress Invitation Brides??

If so...would it look strange to have the invite letterpress and the response card in thermography...

just trying to be cost effective

hmmmmm i would think it would be too much raised lettering on a raised surface see if you can possibly get a sample and see if you like it

the letterpress is fantastic...i have the sample....

i was just going to do the separate response card on the traditional thermography to avoid the letterpress price of another piece..

JMO but I think you should keep the invite and all inserts consistant. It may look a bit odd to me if it was too different.

I actually did my response, reception, directionals & accomodation cards with the letterpress as the heading & then the rest of the writing as thermography. My invite is all letterpress. It look sfabulous!

HTH!

i take that back i was thinking letterpress was something else

it would look very nice together but i think it may become expensive especially if you have a lot of invites

i looked into them and the headache of designing and finding the specific paper i want is annoying...they don't stock the paper i want so i have to find it and ship it to them myself...in the end the price difference is not all that great....

foe something straight forward...they would be a bargain though...their work is great!!!

I dont have a pic but ill see if i can get one up. When im all settled in. As for the difference i dont see much. Of course because the styles are a bit different it changes it but honestly i have black print & it is not terrible. I actually love it. Where have you gone to look for invites? in samples ask them to see invites that people have done like this. Then you can make a decision. better to see in person then anywhere else. All i know is that if we did all letterpress for everything it would have been pretty expensive.
