are you planning to get it?! i have my last apt with my fam tomorrow to try it on for them then and see if they love it as much as i do (Mom and FMIL and grandma). GOOD LUCK!

I am! I fell in love with that dress the minute I saw it in the bridal books and even more when I put it on! You can also change your look throughout the day. I am wearing the lace bolero during the ceremony in Church and then taking it off for the rest of the day and throwing on a chunky Swarovski necklace for the reception.

I was stuck between sabella and the dress that I actually ordered! That dress is gooooorgeous! But it just wasnt the 'one' for me. Good luck! And start working out i found that dress to be heavyyyy! But totally worth it! lol

Hi ladies..as an FYI from a maggie bride, (I just got married on 3/27), please take my advice & get a 2nd dress to change into at the wedding. if you are a dancer & plan on really indulging in your wedding, like i did, then thats the best advcie i can give you. by 9pm I was so hot underneath my dress. i stepped outside a few times to get some fresh air.
But All that aside, the dress was amazing, i got so many compliments you couldnt believe. It's a big, beautiful & fantastic & truly a one of a kind dress

I am falling in love with so many of the Maggie designs, do you girls know if that line has plus sized gowns?

I tried on this dress and loved it! I do agree that is it too heavy. They did say they could shorten the train and order me a petite dress, but I was leery. I think I'm going to continue to look for a not so over the top and heavy Maggie dress.

I ordered mine a petitie as well & all it did was save me from having to make alterations. The dress remained very heavy You can always cut the train off as well but thats what really makes the dress so fabulous. The train is really amazing.
i say just go out & buy a 2nd dress for later in the reception.. i did that was the best decision i made. Everyone loved my 2nd dress as well.
