Just wondering how everyone is doing with planning? Has anyone booked thier rehersal yet? Anyone know about what time it gets dark in Mid-March?

Re: Any March Brides?
MArch 6th here.....have not booked RD yet...that is FFIL job since he insists on having it at a particular restaurant! I have to make the list of people for him! I think it gets dark kind of early, but not as early as it is now (before 5pm). I think it might be closer to 6pm when it gets dark.

I haven't booked by RD yet either. How early should that be done? I am having more trouble trying to figure out where to register and I want to do it soon. Does anybody know anything about registering at Kohl's or Wal-Mart? Like how they are?

Re: Any March Brides?
I think Kohl's is a great idea because they have great sales....not sure if you can access online, so that might be a problem for any out of towners! Don't go for Walmart...if you want to go for something along that line, do Target...research has been done that their 'lines' are the highest quality of stores like that! I was going to do Target, but heard to many horror stories about returns etc. We did Macy's and are going to do Bed Bath and Beyond..both have stores all over and online accessible.

I know I am praying for no snow. Hope it is not like last year. I haven't booked rehearsel yet but probably will in the next week. How about church programs? Any one doing those? If so are you doing them yourself? What colors is everyone having?

March 26th here!! I have not even thought of RD yet my FMIL is in charge of that. I totally trust her to plan a great night. I need to book limos still and order my invites then I think I am done. Anyone know of an inexpensive place to get invites? Or have any of you girls ordered invites online? OMG a little less than 5 months to go!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!

OMG Moehick so many questions!
Rehersal dinner! I need the girls dresses, video, flowers, invites, to register, favors and all the million little things!
I do know that 3/21 sunset is at like 6:07pm. I was very happy to hear that.
I'm thinking about church programs too- I think with my budget, I'd have to make them. Hmm-
My colors are in the purple family. And I'm thinking pink, ivory, with hints of purple for the bouqets. No idea about centerpieces-
5 months is really really close with the holidays and all!

Don't worry Finally16 you will get everything done. Your flowers are the same color scheme as mine. My girls are wearing kiwi which is like a sage green. What about yours?

Wow sun! That's awesome! Our wedding date has consecutive #'s! 32104... I'm a freak.
I think we're the only 2 on LIW that Sunday!
How's your planning? I went tonight with the girls to get sized for their dresses. There's 7 of them, and I still have one more girl to send in her measurements before we order!

Re: Any March Brides?
I'm hoping for no snow, but preparing myself mentally for it. I am a neurotic mess in the snow
It snowed 3/30 this year, and we all know anything is possible. I won't be too bad if it's a light dusting. I'd rather have that than rain. Preparing myself for rain too.

Re: Any March Brides?
March 6th here. I have booked my rehearsal dinner already. All we really have left to do is finalize honeymoon plans, hire limosines, and a jazz pianist for the cocktail hour. I have made the template for my ceremony programs and need to print them out and assemble. We are also addressing our own invitations using computer so in middle of setting up the mail merge right now. I am also making my own favors, so have begun that project. All in all, I think we are in good shape.

I'm sooo excited--just got my invitations today!!!
Otherwise, mostly everything is done. We need to buy the favors; we know what we're doing, just have to order and pay for them. We also have to book the rehearsal dinner and I have to finish registering.
WOW, that might be it for now!

Re: Any March Brides?
oooohhhh...I have a wedding date twin! I'm March 6th too! You have so much more done than I do! Lucky!!
We just booked RD and are doing the BBB part of our registry tonight! I'm hoping to complete the list of dresses for my bridesmaids and get the order in by the end of the week so they come in on time. I also have to start looking for shoes and an 'undergarment' for the top half!! LOL....when are you doing your first fitting??

Re: Any March Brides?
I am doing my first fitting whenever dress comes in. As of today it is not in the shop yet...which does make me a little nervous. They told me that my designer does take his time to make sure it is perfect, but they assured me it would be here in time for all the necessary fittings and stuff.
I feel like I have a lot done...but also feel like list is neverending. Feels like I will be working right up until the last minute.
I got my shoes at Luv My Shoes in Oceanside. They have tons.
As for my bridesmaids, I just told them to go out and get a long plain black dress, pretty much any style on top. Less work for me...but hopefully everyone picks out something tasteful.

Re: Any March Brides?
Okay, I have had 'bridal freak out' the past few weeks and never thought I would have it! I made a list today, and I thought it was all done... I have left- 1.Pick out food for reception 2.Make up cards for directions to hotel- long story I am very PO'd at the hotel!!! 3.Pick out bridal party brunch place 4.Get suck it in undies 5.Stuff envelopes 6.Pick out pic's for video 7.Pick out music for video 8.Pack up stuff for catereres 9.Pack for mini moon, going away for a few days after wedding, and then to Tahitii over summer. Fh is a teacher. 10.Seating arrangements 11.Guest bags for hotel 12.Wrap gifts for bridal party
My first fitting is 12-1-03!!! I am excited about that and we bought in our envelopes for the invitataions to get them calligraphered yesterday, they will be done next week.
