If there was a 'booboo lip' Emote-Icon, I'd use it here. Awwww, it's not that bad, but since Deb and Fred are only having about 100 guests, I didn't want to complain; Still, it would have been nice to have one friend there. Mary MOB

Mary, I'm sorry to hear none of your frineds are invited. Who's paying for the wedding? Are all of the guests just the bride & grooms friends?

Hi Chris!! Yes, Debi and Fred are paying for the wedding. which is another reason, why I don't feel I have the right to say anything. It's just one of those wishful thinking things. The guests include friends, some co-workers, and some family members of Deb and Fred. I don't think friends of Fred's parents are on the guest list. As a loving Mom who wants to help, but can't, it really hurts. Any other Moms dealing with the issue of wanting to help financially, and can't? Mary

I'm sorry to hear that Mary. Have you talked to Debi about it? Maybe if you explain that you would love a few friends there to share your happiness she will understand. She may not even realize that you feel this way. Also, I am sure you are doing plenty to help out with the wedding and giving them a gift so you are entitled to have a few friends there.

Hi Mary,
It would be nice to be able to share such a happy time in your life with one or two of your closest friends. If it's financially possible, what if you offered to pay for them?
