Hi there! I took DH to Daytona 500 this past year & loved it. I booked through a trip planner specifically for NASCAR events. It was priced quite well, and we had transport to & from the hotel to the track (which is huge, since the general parking was up to 3 miles away). We also got hospitality pases & were able to hang out in the pits. Let me find the info & I will edit the post.
If it is a local race, then there is another site, but I have to find it.

OMG - thank you so much. I am not sure about which race. I was thinking of surprising DH with tickets for an our anniversary.

I use to go to Englishtown , NJ all the time with my brother when we were kids. He loves drag racing and NASCAR. But its drag racing only at Englishtown, last I heard anyway. But its a cool day trip you could do for him as well
