I am not a Jersey bride, but my best friend is from Jersey and her sister was just married a few years ago in Northern NJ. Also, we went to a wedding in 2003 in Jersey and the place where the reception was held was PHENOMENAL. If you're still looking for a place, I'll try to get the name!

OH, I got so sidetracked remembering that great wedding that I forgot to say - I'd be more than happy to ask my friend any questions you have about vendors or whatever in Jersey.

Thanks I appreciate it! I am from LI but getting hitched in NJ. I booked a reception site but I need DJ, Photo, Hair ect.....

Whereabouts is your hall located? Their wedding was somewhere near Woodbridge I think.

The reception hall is located in The Historic Newark Building right by the NJ Arts Center

Jersey brides have a really not so great chat board...that's why i'm so glad i live in jersey -but am getting married in LI!!!
The girls on here are wonderful though and can help with the non-state related things!!!
OK their photographer was someone named Amish Thakkar in Edison, NJ and they would highly recommend him.
She didn't even tell me the name of their DJ, because they would NOT recommend him.
And for hair, she'd highly recommend Yolanda in Union, NJ and her website is yolandanet.com and apparently her website has both info and pictures.

are you meaning the newark club? If so I went to a wedding there last summer and it was soo gorgeous!! I go to school 5 min. away from there, and I would recommend looking into the hilton for your oot guests, they do shuttle service and they were defiantly reasonably priced! HTH
