oooo god, this past weekend I literally said to my FH's UNCLE-
'It cost us around... NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS'
FH said- 'Yea that was what it was around'

If they are so interested, I feel like asking if they are picking up the tab. My uncle unfortunately is sick right now too and my aunt expects my parents to help them out a lot financially, so my parents had to put their foot down and listed how much things were going to cost to get them off their backs a little.

I just tell them. . 'Yea I don't really remember, I have all the papaerwork at home'. I get it from alot of girls who aren't enagaged yet, that are just freakin nosey and love to gossip

I read in Ann Landers that when someone asks a nosey question you should say 'Why do you want to know that' and since people won't answer because I'm a nosey they will get embarrassed and just say forget it. I used it all the time and it worked so well. The wisdom of Ann

yep, FHs best man loves to ask. i just try to give him the benefit of the doubt, he isnt asking for any sketchy reason. i think they just like to BS.
