Any of you girls hyphenate when you married & then decided to take your married name only?
Or do you know anyone who has? I have YET to got to SS to change my name officially anyway, so I wondering if I can do that? My marriage license has the hyphenated name & don't you bring that to SS with you?

You do need to bring your marriage license to SS.
Amd I left the Hyphen

What I wonder is.... what if I want the SS card to have only my married name. Can I do that even though my marriage license has it hyhenated? That way I can start the process of taking his name?
