Congratulations and happy planning! There have been a couple of LIW brides in their 40s and 50s but they're married already. I'm 29 - nice to meet you!

Re: any older brides out there
This is my first wedding and my FH's 2nd. He has 5 kids (ages 16-22). I have a 5 year old. We are both very easy going people and don't let things get to us. My only advice to anyone is that life is short and enjoy it!!! We don't sweat the small stuff.

Oh I hate MAM... I actually correct the person when they say that! Thanks for all the warm welcomes and great luck in all your planning. We're definitely not gonna do the garter or Boq. toss & since all but my mom have past we're not doing daddies girl or mom & son dances. We've booked westbury manor, royalty limos, Patkin & FM so far. We loved the homey feel of WM. Lots of wood & fireplaces. Because he's divorced we're limited on ceremony venues. I'd love some suggestions for that. Ok girls, thanks for your help in advance & best of the best to everyone

Re: any older brides out there
are you looking for a 'traditional ceremony venue' or more random?
Because of your time of year - you may be able to do something outdoors!!!

We are getting married at the hall and using a catholic priest. It won't be recognized in the eyes of God but who cares.

Re: any older brides out there
i'd would like something less traditional. outdoors would be great. WM already has a ceremony at the sight that day so we've been bumped from that option.
we're in western nassau... any suggestions?

Hi! I am almost 36. This is my 2nd marriage. I was starting to feel like I might be too old for this site but what the hell -- this is my first real wedding and I'm not the same person I was at 20 so I feel like it's my first real marriage as well!

Re: any older brides out there
welcome!
What are you thinking about for a dress? I'd suggest something simple and sophisticated rather than pouffy, but then again maybe poufy is your thing!
