Any one been to Adrienne's Bridal in Islip???? If so,

any information is appreciated. Like; are they nice and helpful (snobbish salesperson not allowed), what designer brands do they carry, etc.... Thanks in advance.

I found my gown there last year. It was a Maggie Sottero. But I actually purchased it some where else for a better price. The salespeople were ok. They are on top of you and dont let you openingly browse. They did have a nice selection. I bought my dress in queens, in Flushing much cheaper at a place that had a nice selection.

I got my dress there, girls dresses, and my mom got her dress there. They are VERY nice! I loved it there. If you decide to go there, make an appointment. If you buy your dress there, they give you 10% the girls dresses. There dresses are very nice. In fact, the dress I got, I went to Bridal Suite in Patch and Bridal Paradise they had the same dress BUT Adrienne's was $200 cheaper. They were very good with fittings and things like that.
Good Luck!

I got my gown there...ordered it after going to lots of places...Marianne the owner was FABULOUS!!! My gown is 2BeBride which only sells there, Kleinfelds and a place upstate...They also have Eva Something (not Milady) that is really Scotto (or something like that...I really don't know designer names, just pretty dresses! I've heard great things about the Bridal place..not such good htings about the bridesmaid part...late delivery, etc. When we were looking in Maids place there was a girl who was waiting over an hour. Seems she was to pick up her dress (had an appt) and it wasn't pressed! Someone else told me that the day before a wedding the bridesmaids were there, having the straps of their dress adjusted!!!
I can't wait til my dress comes in!!!!

Good luck finding your dress!

I also went there, I bought my gown, my veil, all 5 BMs, and my FG dresses there. I second Maryanne. She is so great. We had a great time with her. The girls in the maids cottage are also fabulous. My cuz also bought her dresses there (all of them BMs, MOB, MOG, hers)

I would suggest going during the day, b/c sometimes it gets busy (for the BMs) When you make an apt. to go try on wedding gowns, again go during the day. i took a day off from work. it was totally worth it.

I also went there and thought they were very nice and helpful. They let me look around first and pick out styles i liked, then they suggested a few others. They were in the middle as far as prices go. I found my dress somewhere else for less. Definitely a good place to try on a lot of styles.

I ordered my gown there and also the bridesmaids gowns. The bridesmaids gowns came in quick. My gown took a little longer but its's here. I ordered a 2be gown, which is a custom gown only certain shops carry. They have been very nice so far.

I know a lot of people have had problems there... but I bought my dress there and my mom bought her dress there and we had nothing but excellent service. They were very nice to us- unlike the witch that helped me at Bridal Couture (who basically told me that my dress would look great once I lost 10 pounds).. once she said that to me- no WAY i was giving them my money...

All bridal stores have there negative comments- so be comfortable with that- you'll not find one store that has a 100% perfect rating.
